PEORIA, Ill. – Peoria Fire needed the “Jaws of Life” to help rescue someone from their crashed vehicle early Saturday morning.
The call came in just after 2:00 A.M. on eastbound Interstate 74 between the Gale and University exits.
Peoria Fire says crews found a mid-sized truck off the road that rolled multiple times and was upright on its wheels.
One person was found entrapped inside.
They were removed and taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The cause of the crash is not known at this time.
