PEORIA, Ill. – A pair of male juveniles were injured after shots were fired in South Peoria on Monday afternoon.
Peoria Police responded just after 3:00 P.M. to the area of Starr and Ligonier, finding one of the juveniles with a gunshot wound to the leg.
He was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.
The second juvenile was found with a graze wound to the hand via a gunshot, and was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police do not have information on the ages of the victims.
The shooting is under investigation, and police currently have no suspects.
