PEORIA, Ill. – The community and Revel in Red fans came out on Sunday to support the late musician Pete Ramsey.
A benefit concert for Ramsey, who died after a car crash in the Missouri Ozarks in July, took place at the 3300 Event Center in North Peoria.
The event featured performances from Revel in Red and other artists.
Revel in Red’s Brian Carroll tells 25 News the concert was one of the most emotional days in the lives of his and his bandmates.
“It’s been incredible. Just an outpouring of love from everybody,“ Carroll said. ”The lights go up and you just see all these familiar faces, and I think Pete would definitely approve.”
Proceeds from the concert benefited Ramsey’s wife and three children.
