PEORIA, Ill. – A collision between two jet skis resulted in one man being rescued from the Illinois River.
It happened around 4:15 p.m. Saturday in an area of the river just north of the McClugage Bridge.
25 News reports firefighters wearing “gumby suits” found the man conscious and hanging on to a jet ski.
Paramedics administered aid on the rescue boat, then once on land the man was transported to a hospital with what were described as non-life-threatening injuries.
There is no information on the condition of the other jet skier or what caused the collision.
