PEORIA, Ill. – A man listed as homeless will remain in jail after allegedly trying to rob a delivery driver near Bradley University.
The Peoria County State’s Attorney’s Office says 34-year-old Nathan Webb was arrested Thursday for Attempt Aggravated Robbery, and ordered held at a hearing Friday.
Police responded to West Main and Bourland at around noon Thursday. That’s where the victim told police that Webb allegedly approached him, implied he had a firearm, and demanded money.
The victim reportedly pulled out a knife, which caused Webb to flee, with the victim taking a photo of Webb and sharing it with police.
Webb was found a short time later by police.
