Earthquake of magnitude 5.7 strikes Chile, GFZ says

(Reuters) -A magnitude 5.7 earthquake struck Chile on Thursday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.

The quake was at a depth of 49 km (30.45 miles), GFZ said.
