PEORIA, Ill. – A man arrested last month in Chicago in connection to a fatal shooting last summer in Peoria has been indicted.
A Peoria County grand jury Tuesday indicted 36-year-old Bryan Vann for First Degree Murder and Unlawful Possession of a Weapon by a Felon.
Vann is charged in the shooting death of 31-year-old Quinterius Evans in the early morning hours of July 23rd last year.
Evans was found lying in the road in the area of Garden and Griswold and died from his injuries.
Vann was arrested on June 17th by US Marshals at a residence he was believed to be living at in Chicago.
He is due back in court Thursday.
