PEORIA, Ill. – A body found in a South Peoria home this past weekend has been tentatively identified.
Peoria County Coroner Jamie Harwood made the announcement in the comments of a Facebook post that originally sought help in identifying the male victim.
Although he says the body is tentatively identified, the name and other details of the victim have yet to be released.
Harwood says his office was called to a home in the area of Shelley and Garden at around 10:00 P.M. Saturday in regards to the deceased.
He says the man was not the owner of the home.

PEORIA, Ill. – The Peoria County Coroner is seeking the public’s help to identify a man found dead in a Peoria home.
Coroner Jamie Harwood says his office responded to the house in the 1000 block of South Shelley Street around 10 p.m. Saturday for a man found deceased,
The man was not the homeowner and had no identification or identifiable information.
Harwood says the man is caucasian, likely between the ages of 25 to 35, between 5-foot-9 and 5-foot-10, weighing 145 pounds with reddish/strawberry blond hair and a red beard. He was wearing a black t-shirt and had the tattoos pictured below.
