PEORIA, Ill. – A man is expected to be okay after being shot Sunday afternoon.
Peoria Police say the adult male in question was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after officers in the area of North Great Oak Road heard shots being fired around noon, then saw several subjects run westbound toward a wooded area.
Officers found a trail of blood that led them to the home the victim was in.
The subjects running were not found, and an investigation continues.
