PEORIA, Ill. – Juveniles were arrested in three separate incidents in Peoria over the weekend, according to Peoria Police.
Peoria Police say they discovered an armed robbery just before 5 p.m. Sunday,, saying another juvenile robbed the victim of a gaming system at a home on West Latrobe. The 17-year-old later came out of the residence and was arrested, and a gaming system was found.
No gun, however, was found, but the boy is in juvenile custody on a charge of Armed Robbery.
Several juveniles were arrested Sunday afternoon after Peoria Police say they were seen in a stolen vehicle. Peoria Police say it happened around 4:30 p-m on North Knoxville near the McDonald’s.
The juveniles were seen getting out of the car and going into an unidentified business. Police found the three males and arrested them.
All face charges of Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, and were put in the Juvenile Detention Center.
Two other juveniles were taken into custody after a stolen vehicle hit a utility pole Friday.
It happened near North and Richmond just after 1:00 Friday afternoon. Peoria Police say the vehicle fled a traffic stop near Union Hill and Moss Avenue at a high rate of speed, crashing near North and Richmond. The male and female juveniles fled on foot but later were caught.
Both face charges of Possession of a Stolen Vehicle and Resisting Police. The male also is charged with Fleeing and Eluding, along with several traffic violations.
