PEORIA, Ill. – One teen was injured and another was arrested after the car they were in hit a semi tractor.
That’s according to Peoria Police, who say the crash happened around 1:45 p.m. Monday.
Police say an allegedly stolen vehicle broadsided the semi near Adams and Bryan, sped off, and struck parked cars on both sides of Green Street.
The 16-year-old passenger of the car eventually fled on foot but was arrested.
The 18-year-old driver, otherwise unidentified, was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
No word specifically on what charges either face.
