WASHINGTON, D.C. (FOX News) — A pioneer in the religious broadcasting scene, Pat Robertson has passed away at the age of 93.
Robertson was an active member of the GOP, even speaking at the 1992 Republican convention.
Often called a televangelist, Robertson founded the Christian Broadcasting Network, where he hosted his show “The 700 Club” for half a century.
Robertson also had a failed White House attempt in 1988, and founded the Christian Coalition to sway evangelical voters to the Republican party.
