PEORIA, Ill. – A big celebration is coming to Peoria in just a few days.
The Peoria Park District is hosting its first-ever “Park-a-Palooza” along the Peoria Riverfront starting this Thursday, featuring an item even adults can love: The World’s Largest Bounce House.
But…
“We are encouraging advance registration,” said Nick Conrad, Peoria Park District Events Supervisor. “Some of our sessions are doing really well. We’re hopeful, maybe, that they will sell out in advance. So, if you are thinking about it, definitely get those tickets now.”
Conrad tells WMBD’s Greg and Dan the reservations are needed for the bounce house to satisfy occupancy and safety limits.
There’s also a concert with country star Ashley McBryde Friday night, and a drone and laser lights show Saturday night.
The drone show is the first time such an event has come to Peoria, says Conrad.
“We’ve got 300 drones that will actually go off — similar location to where the 4th of July are shot off from later in the summer,” said Conrad.
Conrad says there actually will be two drone shows Saturday night — with the laser light show inbetween.
