PEORIA, Ill. – Peoria Police say a teenager is in custody after allegedly assaulting an adult with a brick.
Police say it happened around 6:45 p.m. Wednesday near Garden and Ligonier.
A victim officers found on scene appeared to be unconscious and had what were described as “critical” injuries.
Officers believe a 14-year-old male got into an argument with the man, throwing a brick and hitting him in the head.
The juvenile was found at a home on Malone and taken into juvenile custody on a charge of Aggravated Battery.
No word on the man’s condition.
