PEORIA, Ill. – A Peoria man says he’s not guilty of charges accusing him of opening fire outside of a West Peoria bar last month.
Brandon Eckwood was charged by a grand jury Tuesday with three Class-X felony counts of Aggravated Battery, and one Class-2 felony count of Possession of a Weapon by a Felon. He was arraigned Thursday morning.
Three people were left with non-life-threatening injuries in the incident March 13th outside KG’s Bar and Grill.
Eckwood was arrested several weeks later during a traffic stop.
Eckwood remains jailed on $200,000 bond and could be at trial as soon as July 10th.
