MARSHALL COUNTY, Ill. – Two people from Kewanee have been arrested in connection with the theft of a backhoe owned by the state.
The Marshall Count Sheriff’s Department says 26-year-old Jace Alledredge and 30-year-old Amanda Robinson were arrested on Marshall County warrants.
Alledredge was arrested on April 13th by Chillicothe Police and Robinson on April 20th by Kewanee Police.
Both are facing charges of Theft of Government Supported Property, a Class 1 Felony. Alledredge has two additional theft charges.
Alledredge’s bond was set at $200,000 and Robinson’s bond at $100,000.
The backhoe was stolen on April 7th in the area of Illinois Routes 26 and 18 just east of Henry. It was recovered on April 12th in rural Bureau County.
