WEST PEORIA, Ill. – Two people now face charges after a string of alleged car burglaries last month.
Peoria County Sheriff Chris Watkins says Tremayne King, 24, and a 17-year-old juvenile each face seventeen counts of Burglary to a Motor Vehicle, and Criminal Damage to Property.
The juvenile was already in custody for other cases, and King is now in jail.
Watkins says sheriffs deputies took numerous reports of windows broken out of cars, with items stolen, from cars in the West Peoria area March 26 and 27.
No other details about the break-ins were released.
