PEORIA, Ill. — Fire crews were called to a home on N. Glen Court in Peoria late Sunday night.
Light smoke was coming from the two-story home as firefighters arrived around 11:45 p.m. The fire was put out in a matter of minutes.
A family of five, two adults and three children, got out safely, but were displaced by the fire.
Fire Battalion Chief Scott Strum said the cause of the fire was unintentional.
Damage was estimated at $50,000.
No injuries were reported at the scene.
