PEORIA, Ill. – Peoria Firefighters say a small fire Monday afternoon was arson, but not what you typically think of.
Firefighters went to a home near Starr and Folkers for the fire, where officials say a mental health crisis was to blame.
25 News reports the fire near the front door of the home was able to be put out quickly with an extinguisher.
No one was hurt, and because the homeowner set the fire, that’s why it was deemed arson.
No arrests are expected to be made.
