PEORIA, Ill. – More details are now known about the arrest of a Bradley University official.
66-year-old Shelley Hawkins is accused of stealing multiple packages from the apartment complex she lived in on Southwest Adams Street.
Hawkins was hired last year to be Bradley’s Chairperson of the Nursing Department.
According to police reports, some of the items in the packages taken include a cell phone, hair products, and various clothes.
She was arrested on February 21st on ten counts of theft under $500 and released after posting bond.
There is no word yet on if a formal case has been filed in Peoria County Circuit Court.
