NEW YORK, NY (FOX News) — After months of growing into the fourth largest lottery jackpot in U-S history – someone finally has won the grand prize.
It was an extremely lucky Friday the 13th for the person who holds the only winning ticket for the massive $1.35 billion Mega Millions grand prize.
That ticket sold in Maine was that state’s first Mega Million jackpot winner. The $1 billion-plus prize would be paid out in 30 years, or the winner could take the cash option of nearly $700 million.
There were other winners, though far less grand…14 tickets won $1 million each.
There’s no word on where in Maine the winning Mega Millions ticket was sold.
The winning numbers were: 30, 43, 45, 46, 61 with the gold Mega Ball of 14.
