PEKIN, Ill. – A judge hearing civil lawsuits in Tazewell County against Aaron Rossi — who was head of the now closed Reditus Labs — says he’s not stoping proceedings there.
25 News reports a judge denied that motion Tuesday by Rossi’s attorneys, citing the ongoing federal case against Rossi and potentially the company.
Rossi’s lawyers claim more federal charges could be in the offing, possibly related to the company’s billing practices.
The civil suits allege, ultimately, that Rossi shut business partners out and spent lavishly on himself.
Rossi currently faces charges connected to tax returns filed before the company was formed.
