PEORIA, Ill. – A Glasford man could face as much as 50 years in prison after recently pleading guilty to charges of producing and possessing child pornography.
The U.S. Attorney’s office says Benjamin Lascelles, 35, pleaded guilty in a Peoria federal courtroom last week, and sentencing is scheduled for March 23.
Prosecutors claim Lascelles recorded and photographed himself sexually assaulting two children, ages eight and six, on several occasions in December of 2019.
Authorities say Peoria County sheriffs deputies and Canton Police aided in the investigation.
He was originally arrested more than two and a half years ago.
