GOODFIELD, Ill. – Police in Goodfield have two people jailed on drug charges, who also had much more on them.
Deer Creek-Goodfield Police Chief William Lally says it all happened late Thursday night at a Shell station on E. Peoria Street in Goodfield, when someone was reported to have approached customers selling drugs from a car.
Lally says a search of the car, which had California license plates, and had three dogs inside, allegedly turned up 100 grams of cannabis, methamphetamine, drug equipment, a dozen different drivers licenses, two dozen credit cards, and assorted blank checks.
McKenzie Singer, 42, and Heather Delnero, 31, were taken to the Woodford County Jail on a host of theft and drug-related charges and will be in court on Wednesday.
Lally says the F.B.I. has also been contacted.
