PEORIA, Ill. — It’s an upcoming jam-packed schedule for the Peoria Civic Center.
Civic Center General Manager Rik Edgar says they’ll be hosting 18 shows in the next 12 days, kicking off Wednesday night with Bradley Men’s Basketball and the Broadway show “Come From Away”.
“They have a seven-show run that goes through the weekend. We have matinee and night performances on Saturday and Sunday, and there’s tickets available,” Edgar says.
“If you have not been to a Broadway show, or you have been to a Broadway show, the insiders in the industry tell me that this is easily the best Broadway show that’s ever been produced,” Edgar adds.
Country star Keith Urban plays Carver Arena this Friday (November 4), then the Oak Ridge Boys and the “Fab Four”, a Beatles Tribute show, play the Civic Center Theater next Friday and Saturday nights (November 11 and 12).
“We have Bill Burr on Saturday (November 5), which he is going to break the record for the highest-grossing comedy show in the venue’s history Saturday night. And, then next week we have Koe Wetzel on Wednesday night (November 9), he’s up and coming in the Country world, he’s very popular,” Edgar tells WMBD.
Edgar says Koe Wetzel will be followed by “Whose Live Anyway” on Thursday, November 10, and WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, November 12, bringing Rhonda Rausey to town.
