PEORIA, Ill. – A Peoria man who’s been arrested a number of times for domestic battery has been arrested again, this time after a woman is believed to have suffered serious injuries.
Peoria Police say they responded to a hospital Sunday morning, where they spoke to the female adult victim, whom they described as having serious injuries.
An investigation led officers to 40-year-old Daniel Pace’s North Hightower Street home Monday afternoon, and arrested him.
Pace is jailed on a charge of Aggravated Domestic Battery pending a court appearance.
Court records indicate he posted bond in April and May on several other Domestic Battery cases — one goes to trial later this month.
