PEORIA, Ill. – The Peoria County Sheriffs Department says three teenagers have been arrested connected to break-ins at the Peoria Chinese Christian Church.
Officials say Yahya Suid, 18, and a 17-year-old unnamed juvenile have been arrested on Burglary charges.
The 17-year-old is also charged with Criminal Damage to Property and Theft.
Authorities believe the break-in on North Garden Lane occurred August 16. Surveillance video showed at least two of the suspects setting off fire extinguishers, while officials believe televisions also were taken.
The juvenile and another 17-year-old are also facing similar charges after another break-in to the same church that happened on March third of 2021.
