PEORIA, Ill. – Peoria police say the discovery of a stolen car led to two teenagers being arrested on a number of charges.
Police say investigators saw a car known to be stolen pull into a business Tuesday around 4:00 p.m. near Frye Avenue and Prospect Road.
Officers searched the car, and found a loaded handgun inside.
Zarion Harris, 18, of Chicago was arrested on charges of Aggravated Unlawful use of a Weapon, Possession of a Firearm Without a Valid FOID Card, Criminal Trespass to Vehicles, Unlawful Possession of a Handgun, and Unlawful Possession of a Weapon by a Felon.
Christopher Wadlington, 18, of Peoria was arrested on charges of Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, and Domestic Battery from another case.
The two are believed to remain in the Peoria County Jail.
