BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – A Central Illinois man faces a host of charges stemming from him allegedly driving his car through a fence at the Central Illinois Regional Airport in Bloomington.
Stephon Carter, 33, is charged with Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, Criminal Trespass of a Restricted Area, and Criminal Damage to Property.
Bloomington Police tell 25 News the incident happened Sunday afternoon at CIRA, when Carter allegedly drove a car through a gate and close to a terminal.
Carter is in the McLean County Jail on $150,000 bond, and will be back in court July 19th.
