PEORIA, Ill. — Peoria Police were called just after 10 p.m. on Monday, May 30, to the area of N. Wisconsin and N. Maryland Avenues regarding a ShotSpotter alert with 3 rounds fired.
Officers were advised by dispatch that a victim with a gunshot wound arrived at a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The victim told PPD that his vehicle was fired on by someone in a red truck.
During an investigation, detectives identified a suspect as 32-year-old Adrin D. Terrell.
Officers have not been able to locate and arrest Terrell. PPD is now asking for the public’s help.
Terrell is described as a black male, approximately 5’03” 125 pounds, short black hair, and brown eyes.
Terrell is wanted on charges of Aggravated Battery with Firearm and Domestic Battery.
If seen, Terrell should not be approached, as he’s considered armed and dangerous.
