PEORIA, Ill. — Former Vice President Mike Pence will be in Peoria next week.
Pence will be the keynote speaker for the annual Lincoln Day Dinner, put on by Tazewell and Peoria County Republicans.
“This whole shindig will be next Monday, June 20th, at the Peoria Civic Center Exhibition Hall. We’ve got a lot of people coming, and we’re excited,” said Chairman of the Tazewell County Republican Party, Jim Rule.
Rule told WMBD’s “The Greg and Dan Show”, there’s a lot of curiosity about what Pence will have to say.
“He hasn’t given us any restrictions on what we can ask, or what he’s going to talk about. There’s a lot of discussion going on, particularly on social media, regarding his role in the Jan. 6th certification process,” Rule said.
Tickets for the Lincoln Day Dinner are still available for $75 a piece.
