PEORIA, Ill. — Two shooting victims are reportedly cooperating closely with Peoria Police investigators following a shooting reported at Taft Homes Thursday afternoon.
Peoria Police Public Information Officer Semone Roth confirms the shooting around 4 p.m. at the property along NE Adams Street.
Roth tells WMBD News two male victims, aged 18 and 20 are both being treated for injuries at OSF Healthcare.
One of the men was shot in the back while the other suffered a gunshot wound to the arm.
The 20-year-old victim is reportedly in serious, but stable condition while the 18-year-old is reported to be in stable condition.
Police indicate both men are cooperating with investigating officers, even as they undergo treatment by OSF doctors and nurses.
There is no suspect information released yet and no arrests, but more information could be released in the coming hours.
