HANNA CITY, Ill. – We’re learning more about a fire that caused some damage to part of a home in Hanna City Tuesday afternoon.
A woman in the bathroom, reportedly alone inside the home, ended up with minor burns and Peoria County Sheriff’s officials say she refused transport by ambulance for any medical treatment.
Further details about what started the fire or how the woman was burned are still being kept under wraps as the investigation is ongoing.
The identity of the woman — also not released.
For now, the Peoria COunty Sheriff’s office and the State Fire Marshal’s Office are conducting the follow up investigation.
As a result of Tuesday’s fire, the home suffered $25,000 in damage.
