EAST PEORIA, Ill. — East Peoria wants your input.
The city is asking the public to help pick a slogan that will be a part of a new community brand developed by the East Peoria Community Partners, comprised of officials from the East Peoria Chamber of Commerce, City of East Peoria, EastSide Centre, East Peoria Community High School, East Peoria Elementary District 86, Fon du Lac Park District, and the Fondulac District Library.
The goal is to engage current residents, attract visitors and new residents to East Peoria, and to enhance economic growth.
“East Peoria knows how to transform nothing into something. This progressive community sees the possibilities and, more important, harnesses the energy and provides the support to make those possibilities become realities,” a release stated.
You can vote for one of three slogans: “Embrace the Possibilities”, “Be Part of Something” and “Discover the Possibilities”…or make your own suggestion.
The online survey is available May 4 through May 25 HERE, or you can get a paper copy at the Fondulac District Library, located at 400 Richland Street, East Peoria.
