PEORIA, Ill. — Police in Washington are announcing a sifnificant drug bust from earlier Thursday.
Police there say local officers and the Peoria Multi-County Narcotics team executed a search warrant on a home in east Washington around 8:30 a.m.
Inside, detectives found 32 grams of cocaine, a drug scale, narcotics packaging material, a firearm and an undisclosed amount of cash.
According to a Washington police news release, officers took one suspect into custody and transported them to the Tazewell County jail.
Police have not yet identified this suspect.
