PEORIA, Ill. — There’s a threat of severe weather late Wednesday morning in the Peoria metro area.
25 News Chief Meteorologist Chuck Collins said rain and thunderstorms are expected all day Wednesday, but the best chance for severe storms will be between 9 a.m. and noon.
“Damaging winds will be the primary concern, although an isolated tornado can’t be ruled out and heavy rain is a good possibility,” Collins said.
Non-thunderstorm winds of 40 miles per hour are expected most of the day Wednesday.
