PEORIA, Ill. — A vacant home went up in flames for a second time.
Peoria firefighters were called just before 11 p.m. Sunday to the area of S. Charles and W. Hayes, finding smoke coming from the one-story home.
It had been boarded up after a fire last Thursday.
Fire Battalion Chief Michael Hughes said crews had the fire was out in less than fifteen minutes.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
