MONTECITO, Cal. (Fox News) — Producer and filmmaker Ivan Reitman has died. His family said Reitman passed away in his sleep at his home in Montecito, California on Saturday night. He was 75.
Among Reitman’s credits, directing “Ghostbusters” in 1984, a huge success, pulling in $300 million, two Oscar nominations, and spawning a major franchise.
Reitman also produced “National Lampoon’s Animal House,” and directed Bill Murray in “Meatballs”, along with a number of other films including “Kindergarten Cop.”
