PEORIA, Ill. – Two people are in custody after gunshots were fired early Friday morning in Peoria’s East Bluff neighborhood.
Peoria Police say a pair of ShotSpotter alerts on North Dechman came in just after one a-m.
Officers in the area also heard shots fired and, after following a vehicle, saw four suspects allegedly fleeing.
Two were later caught — Jamere Williams, 26, and Adrian Cox, Junior, 20 — and face charges of Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Possession of a Stolen Firearm, and Obstructing Police.
34 shell casings were found at the scene, while at least one bullet hit a home in the area. No one was hurt.

Officers in the area also heard shots fired and saw two or possibly three suspects running from the scene.
Two were later caught, and face charges of Unlawful Use of a Weapon and Obstructing Police. Their names have not yet been released.
A house was hit by the gunfire, but no one was hurt.
