PEORIA, Ill. – A Peoria man is jailed after allegedly pulling a gun and firing a shot during a fight Monday night.
Peoria Police say Bilal Wilkins, 27, was arrested after a later traffic stop on charges including Aggravated Assault, Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm, Battery, and other weapons charges, and is jailed.
Police say the fight happened just after 6:00 p.m. on South Friedan on the city’s southwest side.
The victim refused to talk with officers, other than to say he was not injured.
Wilkins has a history of drug and weapons-related arrests in Peoria since 2011.
