PEORIA, Ill. – Peoria Police say they’ve arrested four juveniles for stealing a car, and one of them was also caught with a gun.
They’re not giving the ages or names of the juveniles, but say all four face charges of Criminal Trespass, Obstructing Police, and Resisting Arrest.
Police were alerted late Wednesday night to a vehicle driving recklessly near Sterling and Nebraska Avenues, before the four allegedly fled on foot after the car was in an accident at Madison Park and Howett.
Officers eventually caught up to the four, and they’re now in the Peoria County Juvenile Detention Facility.
The juvenile allegedly with the gun also faces a host of weapons charges, including Possession of a Firearm by a Street Gang Member.
