PEORIA, Ill. – Peoria Police say they have arrested a woman they claim slashed tires on at least 20 vehicles parked downtown several days ago.
Police say Kierra Lymon, 28, was arrested Saturday morning and faces 30 felony counts of Criminal Damage to Property, and one felony count of Criminal Damage to State-Supported Property.
Police say 20 vehicles had slashed or flattened tires Wednesday in an area from Washington Street to Monroe, and Fayette to Kumpf.
Officials say detectives were able to record video of Lymon and give it to officers leading to the arrest.
Police say Lymon is in the Peoria County Jail, and was also found to be wanted on a McLean County warrant.
