PEORIA, Ill. – Peoria County Coroner Jamie Harwood says a Peoria woman has died three weeks after a multi-vehicle accident left her hospitalized.
Harwood says Jacqueline McDuffie, 50, died Saturday, September 25, from multiple blunt-force injuries.
Harwood says McDuffie was a back seat passenger in one of the cars involved in the September 4th crash at North Sterling and West Reservoir near Sterling Plaza.
Harwood says McDuffie was not wearing a seat belt, and was ejected from the vehicle.
Toxicology tests turned up negative.
Darrien Davis, 31, was arrested in connection with the crash for, among other charges, street racing.
McDuffie was one of four people seriously injured.
