HANNA CITY, Ill. – As much as $30,000 in damage was done to a home in rural Hanna City thanks to a late-morning fire Wednesday.
That’s according to Logan-Trivoli Fire Chief David Tuttle, who says firefighters from a half-dozen departments responded to a home 1619 South Eden Road around 11:25 A.M. Smoke, Tuttle says, could be seen coming from the home’s attic.
Tuttle says firefighters found fire coming from a bedroom ceiling, and they were able to put it out quickly. The cause, he says, is likely electrical. The home — especially the second and third floors — ended up with smoke and water damage.
No one was hurt.
