PEORIA, Ill. – A Peoria Catholic school says it’s being forced to return to remote learning after what appears to be a COVID-19 outbreak there.
Our news partner 25 News reports St. Jude Catholic School on North Knoxville Avenue notified parents Monday after what they say was “increasing numbers of students” testing positive for the virus.
The remote learning is expected to last two weeks. Administrators say they hope to be back to normal by September 13.
The school is also cancelling all extra-curricular activities while the remote learning takes place.
