PEORIA, Ill. — Peoria Police have arrested a third and final suspect in a home invasion and armed robbery that occurred last week.
A Ring doorbell camera recorded the attack on Tuesday, August 10 in the 1400 block of W. Hanssler Court.
Police said a man followed the victim inside when she returned home. He pointed a gun at her, and demanded her car keys while a second suspect waited outside.
Sgt. Amy Dotson said one of the suspects fled in the woman’s car, while the other followed in a vehicle that was waiting nearby.
Just before 4 p.m. Tuesday, PPD arrested a 17-year-old male in the 100 block of N. Village Green Court. He was taken to the Juvenile Detention Center for home invasion and motor vehicle theft.
Last Friday, Peoria Police arrested another juvenile, a 16-year-old male, and 18-year-old Brandon McGrew.
The 16-year-old was held on criminal trespass to a vehicle while McGrew faces charges in adult court of home invasion, armed robbery, and motor vehicle theft.
