PEORIA, Ill. — Two individuals have been arrested in connection with the death of a juvenile male Wednesday morning.
Detectives arrested Karon M. Schuch on four counts of endangering the health or life of a child and obstructing justice.
Detectives also arrested a 15-year-old male for reckless discharge of a firearm, reckless conduct and unlawful possession of a handgun under 21.
The firearm used in the incident has been recovered, according to Sgt. Amy Dotson.
Detectives spoke with several people present during the shooting before making the arrests.
A juvenile male was found with life-threatening gunshot wounds just after 5:00 a.m. Wednesday in the 3000 block of W. Seibold.
He was later pronounced dead at a local hospital.
No further information will be released regarding the victim or arrested juvenile due to their ages.
