PEORIA, Ill. — A juvenile male is dead after suffering gunshot wounds Wednesday morning just after 5:00 a.m.
Peoria Police responded to the 3000 block of W. Seibold on reports of the juvenile being shot.
He was taken to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead, according to Sgt. Amy Dotson.
Peoria Police have not called the incident a homicide, as the death is still under investigation by police.
The identity of the juvenile was not released.
