PEORIA COUNTY, Ill. — Around 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, the Peoria County Sheriff’s Office responded to 305 N. Apricot Avenue, regarding shots fired.
Upon arrival, witnesses told deputies that they observed a male and female arguing in front of the mobile home. The male struck the female, then went back into the residence and retrieved a gun, and shot at the vehicle the female was in.
The female fled in the vehicle, and the male suspect went back into the mobile home. Peoria County Sheriff”s deputies surrounded the residence.
Peoria County Sheriff Brian Asbell said eventually, four juveniles came out of the home and were detained, then later released to family.
The suspect remained inside the residence. A search warrant was obtained and the Central Illinois Emergency Response Team (CIERT) responded.
At 10:25 p.m., the suspect, Myron Fisher, 18, of Peoria left the residence and was taken into custody. Detectives searched the home and located a firearm.
Fisher was charged with aggravated discharge of a firearm and aggravated unlawful use of a firearm.
Fisher was booked into the Peoria County Jail. He currently has no bond set, and will either go to bonding court at 2 p.m. Thursday or Friday.
