PEORIA, Ill. — After dealing with severe weather across the tri-county area last weekend, news partner 25 News Chief Meteorologist Chuck Collins said more of the same may be seen this weekend.
According to Collins, occasional clusters of showers and thunderstorms will pop up beginning Thursday.
The primary concern is heavy rain, as the area could see three to six inches of rainfall between Thursday and Sunday.
The National Weather Service (NWS) predicts storms will start after 11 a.m. Thursday.
Collins said storm chances will continue into next week.
